Galaxy S25Help please. Just switched from a s23+ to s25+ and having notification issues. Can't get any push notifications from Tiktok, and others won't go thru to my Samsung watch. Tried uninstall, restarting phone, checked settings but nothing works.

Galaxy S25This normally occurs once they have changed to a new Samsung phone. One UI can in the background block notifications even when everything appears to be ok.
First, check bank accounts. Open the Settings and go to the Apps and then to Tik Tok and make it as Unrestricted. Background data should also be permitted. Samsung is rather pushy in battery saving, and they frequently break the push notifications.
Then, in the settings, select Notifications and follow to App notifications and make sure that all types of notifications are turned on. Only a partial activation of them occurs after a phone transfer.
In the case of the watch, go to Samsung wearable app, under the watch setting, enabling TikTok and the other applications should be provided under Notifications. This environment tends to be reformed every time you switch phones.
Another one is to go to Settings โ Battery and device care and Background usage limits and turn any apps that are listed as affected out of the Sleeping or Deep Sleeping categories.
Unless this is the case, you can attempt wiping the cache partition (power off - hold Volume Up + Power - wipe cache - restart). This does not erase information and has addressed the notification problems of many Samsung users.
When it still fails after all that, then it is probably a bug in One UI and normally there is a subsequent update to fix it.
