Controller stopped working in Dex mode

After OneUI 8.0 update controller stopped working during phone screen off whenever I'm in dex mode. It's really frustrating to keep the screen on and then play games which was not the issue in ONE UI 7.0

Fix is coming in OneUI 8.5 

I have been testing it in my phone right now and it's working flawlessly.

This is non sense, it's draining my battery to keep the screen on, plus when the phone display is on, we lose FPS as it's taking GPU power. How come after two months there is no fix and plus we'll have to wait for the carrier to push this and they are very slow to do so.  There should be out of band update.  When you buy a premium phone, you expect premium support.

My Bluetooth controllers are malfunctioning in dex after the update.

Malfunctioning like the controllers disconnect while playing, taking a break, etc? First, open the Galaxy Store app and check for updates and install them.

Next, power off the device, then press and hold both the volume up and side (power) button at the same until you see the recovery screen. Then using the volume buttons, move the highlight over "Wipe cache partition", click the side button, use volume button to highlight "Yes", click the side button, then click the side button again (it will default the highlight to "Reboot system now") to restart the phone as usual. See if that works

If this till happens it, select another timeout setting like 5mins in Settings/Display/Screen timeout. There are comments out there using this as a tempt solution. You could try opening Settings/General management/Reset/Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings, then reset. This will totally clear all Bluetooth device connect to the device and reset the Wi-Fi connection, Connecting back into Wi-Fi is simply using the logging credentials again Bluetooth will requiring pairing all of the devices back to the phone, including a vehicle if it was paired. It may solve the issue overall but if the controllers are disconnecting during usage, then this should tried.

You have to keep the phone screen on or your d-pad and analog sticks stop functioning. Pretty massive bug to get pushed out in an automatic update.

I'm having this issue too, BT controls stop working once the phone screen shuts off. It's very annoying.
