I hate the new update. And I think most of you do. While we can't uninstall it. Please, if anyone knows how to change back the stupid notification thing. I hate that I have to swipe on a specific side of the screen. I hate apples it's. If I wanted it, I would've bought one. Whenever anyone asks me why I have andriod my answer has always been UI. And now they do this to me. What's next? The removal of your back, home, and tabs button??? If anyone knows how to change this in settings. Please tell me

Love yall

Pull down from the top right of the status bar. Tap the pencil icon. Go to panel settings and tap "together." Voila, combined notifications and quick settings.

Thanks for this. I just wish that when they updated and changed things like this that it was something that wasn't automatically set. The people who dont want this **bleep** shouldn't be forced to even know it exists. Let people who actually want it go to their settings instead of making it default

Lol, happy to help! Feel free to make another post if there's anything else you're frustrated by. Ohers have probably dealt with it and may have solutions.

If you wouldn't mind, please mark my other post as a solution. It will help other people with the same question.

I'd try to get used to the double panels. If you use Quickstar from Goodlock you can even adjust how much of the top border is used to pull down which screen. Also you can set in Settings/Homescreen to have a swipe down go automatically to notifications.

The single panel is badly designed for gestures. You can swipe left or right to get to the expanded controls but then you can only swipe from the left or right edges to go back to notifications. It's counterintuitive.
