I just bought z fold 7 and I have to return it because I didn't know Samsung phone doesn't allow multi-user.  It's very important because I share my device with family and I don't want to mix up with their profile.

I think we're you're looking for is dual messenger, you can even use a different set of contact lists for the messengers. It allows you to have like different account got the same platforms like WhatsApp, snap, messenger, and even Facebook. Not sure if this is what you meant but yh, and for other platforms like day Spotify or Instagram, you can just switch accounts. Let me know if this helps. I haven't used it before but I know I've seen it before while exploring the phone.

I'm not sure that Samsung phones ever had multi user profiles.  Tablets do.  It's never a good idea to share a phone with anyone, regardless of whether there are multiple use profiles.  How do you call each other if you are all using the same phone?  What happens when more than one person needs to use it at the same time?  And if one person downloads a malicious program or clicks a bad link, it doesn't matter that each user's profile is separate, the whole phone is infected.

Personally, I would never let someone else use my device on a regular basis, so I never needed or would ever use the multi-user profiles option. Sharing your devices is how problems can arise to begin with. NO ONE uses my devices but myself.

That's great I mean no offense but that's not at all with the poster is asking.
He in fact did not ask for anyone's opinion on sharing his phone with his family or what people's thoughts were on that he asked the specific question and maybe two people tried to answer it the rest just commented on their own feelings of sharing the phone. None of us are better than the other, certainly no reason to get on a high horse about sharing the phone. There's nothing wrong with that especially with family if you have a healthy family that is. Again no offense but I kind of took offense for OP, he asked a simple question and people are judging him for it which is not okay

So, you are here to what, chastise people for not giving a direct answer to a question?  People are trying to explain to the OP *why* there is no multi user profile on the phone - they are not meant to be sharable devices.  They are also trying to caution the user on the perils of sharing a device, because many people do not think of that aspect of things.  There is absolutely something wrong with sharing a phone with family members, as anyone can do something to destroy either the  phone or other users profiles, and it does not matter how much you trust your family.

Hold on OP; are you talking about a work profile? It sounds weird, Samsung named weird but work profile is essentially in isolated partition that can be ran that basically clones the stock partitions and allows for a secondary phone basically that cannot and will not interact with the main profile. Is this what you're talking about? However you would not be able to share it with your whole family as you can only have one main profile & one work profile so you and a partner possibly Max.
