Android phones do not have a BIOS in the traditional sense like desktop computers. Instead, they use a bootloader and firmware stored in ROM to initialize the device and load the operating system.

What's your point? You use the internet as well to seek information. I was just posting my findings, not trying to debate the issue.

99% of hacking is because of user behavior.  I'm not saying that Samsung's Knox security is unhackable, but it is among the most robust and secure that there is, and if you are being hacked it's either by a very sophisticated hacker or it's something you are doing or not doing that let them in. You should be making sure app security is enabled on  your phone and you should get yourself a VPN.  If you connect to public wi-fi networks a VPN is a necessity.  If you connect to a home internet network, you should make sure the router's firewall is enabled, ports you don't use are closed and that you have changed the administrator user name and password.  Many hackers get in because people leave their routers "open" with the default (and not secret) user name and password.

And that can happen on any device anywhere. Your point? One can only do what they can do to protect themselves. The odds are far, far more likely some major database will be hacked than Joe Schmoe's phone. That does not mean that Joe should keep his phone unprotected.

Just my 2 cents you can be hacked or infected by malware or some link you clicked on for example that would generate from user interaction again just a example
