On my S25 whenever a banner pops up it takes what seems like forever for it to go away, in excess of 5 minutes. They are interfering with other functions of the phone. Does anyone know how to re- time these things to a little more reasonable period?
What exactly do you mean by banner? A screenshot would be helpful to diagnose the issue. If it's notification related, try adjusting: Settings>Accessibility>Advanced settings>Time to take action
You probably downloaded a scam app that forces adds on you that wouldn't otherwise be there. There should not be random banners ever.
Forgot to say this before so this is an added edit, try booting into safe mode (reboot device and press and hold volume down until phone finishes booting) to see if the issue persists. It will disable most apps and should allow you to re-enable individually to test each app. Try 10ish minutes per app before you re-enable the next one. I warn you THIS IS A LONG AND TEDIOUS PROCESS!!!
