Hello again. I'm still very new to the Android OS. I have successfully set recurring alarms to happen on specific days and times. However, they keep turning themselves off after a week?

I thought I was doing it at first, but, no I am not. I keep missing appointments or tasks and this is NOT good. Is there a setting to stop this from happening?

Open your clock widget, then click on snooze, then what settings are used? Choosing forever would be the one desired.

Like this screen...

Wow. That's really an odd choice by the OS designers. I thought that was how many times it would be the system snooze went off and not to keep thenalarms turned on. I'll give it a try and see if it happens again.

Thanks for the info!

Apologies for that misinformation as @LongHikerpointed out. Anyway, click on the existing alarm (or add another clicking the + icon), then select the days by clicking the days (in the circles) of the week just below the time settings, then set time when that alarm needs to happen. To set specific times for each day or a number of days, then create a new alarm (the + icon) and set the time. AFAIK, the same alarm setting cannot have different times for different days in the same save.

@Tom6068 Sorry, but changing the snooze will not affect if an alarm repeats or not. For example, the Alarm I use every workday (auto repeats) has snooze settings of 5 minutes, 3 times.

No need to apologize, I stand corrected as I was looking at words instead of the actual function. Being wrong means getting things correct.

@Blu-Ray Can you post a screenshot of the Alarm that you have set up? Here is a screenshot of the one that I have repeat every week.

@Blu-Ray The screenshot looks like it is set up properly. Are you turning off the alarm early, before it rings? If you do that, make sure that you click the "Turn back on for ..." button which appears. If you don't do that, it will not ring for the next day.

There is no need to change the snooze to forever.

No. Not that im aware of. I've seen the notices about upcoming alarms but I've been ignoring them because I want them to sound.
