Try this, go to Settings/Accessibility/Vision enhancements and toggle on "Reduce animations". I know this may not work as that seems to be a specific built in app function, but this will prevent system animation s form playing.

If that does not work, open the app, click on your avatar and tap gear icon on the top right.  Then scroll down to and tap "Playback" and toggle off "Autoplay next video".

Can you post a screen record video? Could be a display issue if it doesn't show up in the video

I posted this a few days ago, when i toggle ON "Reduce animation" i get 5 little white dots, shaped in a star, that flash when i start a YouTube video. It only happens on the app, not if i open a video from the web. Its doing it on my S22 also when reduce animation is ON.
Sounds weird but its annoying. Here is the response from Samsung support.

If anyone has a few minutes, turn on "Reduce animation" and check out a video on YouTube app. Interested to see if its the same for you.
