"Recently added" contacts coming before "Favourites" after OneUI7 update

Since the OneUI7 update, the contacts list while making calls shows "Recently added" contacts at the top. Then it shows "Favourites". The recently added list is useless to me.

Before the update, I always used to have favourites on top.

How to bring favourites on top again?

I am having the same issue, on One UI 7.0, horrible and useless, I hope they fix it.

I have the exact same problem, using a s23.

Also does everyone experience that finder can't be launched using swipe down gesture on the app drawer anymore? Sure I can touch on the search bar first to bring up keyboard and then type, but the swipe down to get finder and the keyboard was such an intuitive feature !

If you click on the contacts listed in the "Recently added" and then click the i, it will remove them from this list.  After I did this with several of the contacts in recently added, they all went away and my Favorites were at the top again.  Agreed this update was useless and annoying.
