So...youtube has consistently been overheating the phone. No other app does this. I can watch Netflix, prime video which uses ultra high definition video, and other streaming services and none of these overheat my phone...but YouTube always overheats my phone and wrecks my battery. Is there a fix for this? Phone is the S24 Ultra
Hello, yes I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It doesn't help unfortunately. I routinely have to close the app and force stop it in order to reset the performance. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. Whenever I finish using the app though, I have to force stop it in order to reduce potential battery drain after the fact.
