Galaxy S24Edit: Had to clear data via app settings. Then was able to enter phone number, which made some of this better. I was not able to see messages I sent in group chats but now I can at least see those. However, incoming messages are still split.

Galaxy S24This is not solved. All of these things that are mentioned do not work. Has Samsung considered that it may be the specific phone model doing this? I see lots of folks saying this is happening with the Samsung S20 FE. It's happening on my husband's but it is not happening on my Samsung S22.

Galaxy S24This happened to me as well. The solution that worked for me was installing and activating Textra as my default messaging app. I then switched back to Google messages as the default app. After doing that the text that was ripped out of conversations had been reintegrated. The new groups that had been made were still there though, but those could now be deleted.
