Was the Uncompressed RAW feature been removed?

Can someone clarify why the Samsung S20 series (including S24U) stopped generating uncompressed RAW files sometime in Q1 2023?

In Pro mode, we now have JPEG compression in a DNG container. It is a 12-bit JPEG.

Expert RAW has the same JPEG compression (on 16 bits, probably because of HDR) for S22U and S23U, while on S24U it shows as "Unknown (52546)" compression. According to an article I found on Samsung India, it is said that this is a new JPEG XL compression.

Why not offer the option to get again (as we had before Q1 2023) truly uncompressed mosaiced RAW, which works with the Lightroom Denoise AI algorithm, instead of the current demosaiced compressed Linear RAW, which doesn't.

We also need the raw to be raw, if it has the same dynamic range as the jpg there is no point.

Your response is done by a person that is normal afterwards a dev at least for me replies with a fix or if they require more info as well sometimes some technical info.

New update underway that improves the camera also Expert Raw.

It only states that Gallery will handle the new DNG format used by Expert RAW better.
From what I read, this may only change how JPGs are edited internally. I have serious doubts that they will improve the RAW file generation.

For me, the most important thing I need is to fix the third-party main camera bug. And that's not documented, unfortunately.

Obviously, I would love very much to be proven wrong.

Well the samsung members of korea mentioned that other fixes will be sent in the next SW update.

Yea ExpertRAW needs to be fixed not the Gallery, lets hope that's a bad machine translation.
