I must activate Bluetooth in order to connect cell phone with car. If Bluetooth is running, regardless of where I am, cannot connect to phone. I can call but cannot speak to anyone. If I receive a call and Bluetooth is running, I cannot talk to the caller. Do I have to turn Bluetooth off everytime I want to use the phone outside of my car??
@JBritt It sounds like your phone is connecting to a different Bluetooth device when you are outside of your car. The audio is going to that Bluetooth device.
In phone settings -> Connections -> Bluetooth what devices do you have listed?
Some cars stay connected to your Bluetooth for a while even after they are turned off. If you turn off bluetooth and turn it back on (or connect a different Bluetooth headset or speaker) this should disconnect from the car until you start it again.
