Unable to sync photos to my Google Keep notes

Hello. After the recent update to my S24 Ultra, I cannot sync photos to my Google Keep notes. Screenshots and text notes will sync, but photos will not. I've noticed this issue since 9/16. I posted this issue on Reddit, and someone else said they have the same issue with a Samsung Fold device after a recent update. Is anyone else having the same issue or know of a way to fix the issue?

Same. Photo's taken on other devices sync with no worries but nothing but a placeholder icon from my S24 Ultra

Pending resolution from Samsung or Google, you may attempt a manual workaround by navigating to the affected note and selecting "make a copy." The duplicated note should then show complete photo synchronization.

Sync icon does indeed disappear if you make a copy, but photo still not actually syncing. S24 Ultra.

Still happening on my S24 Ultra as of this writing (1/29/25). I did try to uninstall, restart phone, and reinstall with no luck, other than in deleting any new photos which hadn't syc'd in keep 🙄

Same problem; Keep will sync screenshots but not photos taken with the phone.  S25 phone in UK.  First noticed on 5 Feb 25.  NEW OBSERVATION?  When I took an image using a 3rd party camera app (Open Camera) on the S25 and added the image to a Keep note it synchronised immediately.   That suggest it may be something to do with the Samsung Camera App.

I second this! I came to the same conclusion and tried "Camera For Android" uploaded straight away.

U would have thought maybe this issue is fixed in s25. nooo... i just switch to s25 ultra and its still the same... if you use the samsung camera app and take aphoto, same... if you use the camera in Keeps to take, same issue... but if you use other camera apps, surprisingly it works. So its really just samsung and google having some major issues with this....
