📱 The Quest for a Perfect Screen Protector

I'm looking for the ultimate screen protector for my 24U 

Samsung’s film protector felt restrictive with the SPen—not a fan. I’ve tested several glass protectors, and the matte anti-glare ones feel great. They boost visibility, resist fingerprints, and glide beautifully.

But here’s the catch: fingerprint biometrics fail 80% of the time on first and second attempts, even after resetting prints and maxing out touch sensitivity.

I know matte’s not for everyone, but if you’ve found a screen protector that hits all three—anti-glare, anti-smudge and reliable biometrics, beyond the marketing hype —I’d be seriously grateful for the recommendation! 😊

Not sure it meets your criteria, but Spigen is always my go-to for screen protectors. Never had any issues with the fingerprint scanner on my S24+, using Spigen screen protector since day 1.

At cursory glance, it looks like the S24U protector features an oleophobic coating, so that may or may not mimic the feel of the original display.

Interesting that when trying the touch sensitivity display, my thumb print works flawlessly but with the ultrasonic fingerprint it is hit and miss using a glass screen protector.

This is with Touch Sensitivity turned on and accidental touches turned off in the settings.

No conclusions. Just an observation. The ultrasonic sensor uses heat, moisture and vibration. The test for touch sensitivity time probably does not. Increased sensitivity to .5 seconds to see if this has an effect. 🤔
