They heard you, Samsung has brought back the ability to hide your Navigation Bar and Swipe Gestures.

You will have to download Goodlock and specially NavStar once installed toggled on NavStar, Enable extra gesture settings.

Go to settings. Display, navigation, show more, have fun again.

Ps. If you already have both apps and you are not seeing those options, Open Goodlick again scroll to NavStar, tap on the more, go to store, there will be an update waiting. For some reason it isn't showing up in updates

Please have an option for samsung users to use the old swipe gestures that you guys took off. I understand you might to implement new features, but at least having the option for us to use the old one. The new swip gestures are not intuitive, a pain to use, and infuriating. Please bring back the old one.

I'd agree. not really infuriating if you can control your emotions and can learn new things.

Are you talking about these ones? 1706343731384.jpg

No, the new swipe gesture option that you see makes it so any swipe on the sides of the screen register as the back button. The old swipe gesture option had 3 swipe-up zones on the bottom of the screen specifically for back, home, and recents.  This is what the poster was referring to, which they removed unfortunately.

Talk to Google chances are to use some of their licensing they have to follow certain conditions. Like how certain G apps can't be removable to have the play store. My bet it's a Google requirement more than a Samsung wanting to remove it.

Very likely the case, but as suggested, they could re-add it as an option in Goodlock as a loophole to the Google contract they have. Easy solution, both parties win.

They can't re-add it. If Google has a requirement you follow it. There is no loophole. It's already been tested out before. See Amazon Fire Phone which failed drastically because they didn't want to follow Googles terms.
I guess some of you guys forgot when google made it mandatory for a search bar on the home screen?
