They heard you, Samsung has brought back the ability to hide your Navigation Bar and Swipe Gestures.

You will have to download Goodlock and specially NavStar once installed toggled on NavStar, Enable extra gesture settings.

Go to settings. Display, navigation, show more, have fun again.

Ps. If you already have both apps and you are not seeing those options, Open Goodlick again scroll to NavStar, tap on the more, go to store, there will be an update waiting. For some reason it isn't showing up in updates

Samsung heard your pleas.
There will be an update in Goodlock to NavStar module to enable Swipe Gestures and hiding the nav bar.

Here are the instructions when the update drops.

The Edge Panel has settings for for changing the size, color, and thickness of the handle. Your can even make the handle transparent so that it's effectively invisible.

If the new gesture hint thing has to stay on screen all the time, Samsung should add the same kind of customization options to it that the Edge handle already has.

I can download NavStar, took a bit to get that to work. But won't open and isn't listed in the apps. Have to dig for it. So how do you get it to open?

It is a module in Goodlock, that's why it won't open.
You also have to have Goodlock downloaded for it to work!

Pretty cool for sure. The new nav on 6.1 is awful and thankfully there was a way around it!
