Secure folder lock options change

Why was the 'lock after exit' option removed from secure folder? This was an absolutely necessary option and now it's no longer available, at least on oneui beta. BRING IT BACK OR CREATE A PROPER APP LOCK

For me, it doesn't matter. When in public, I lock my phone when I'm done with it, and I usually close out all the screens that are not pinned, so that they don't run in the background and wear down the battery.

From the main Secure Folder screen, open the three-dots menu.

Tap "Settings".

Tap "Auto lock Secure Folder".

Choose the option you want. The top one is "Each time I leave an app." Would this work better for you?

You have the option

Each time I leave the app... That means you don't have the beta yet... Now with One UI 8 beta, it doesn't show that option ... That's what I'm saying, I have the other option but the one ( each time I leave the app )

Oh okay. I didn't realize that Samsung had removed that option. I don't know why they keep removing useful and popular settings.

Not true. Even if the screen doesnt black out, you can set it to lock after a certain period of time. Set it to the shortest. This was done, probably, so one exiting the folder can re enter it without unlocking it within a certain period of time. Where are you leaving your phone that just anybody can walk up to it and access your secure folder? You can also just hide the folder or temove it from your home screen.

Will you please put the auto lock feature back? I'm feeling very unsecured. Especially since someones child downloaded Roblox into my secure folder!

Not the best option, but it's the only one that comes close to what it was before. When you're in main screen of secure folder tap on the three dots, tap "lock and exit". Hopefully, with the outpouring of comments, Samsung will bring it back.

Thanks, but a manual lock is like, I'd have to rewire my whole brain! 😂 There's no room for new stuff at this point.
