Galaxy S24I have a s24 ultra and am very upset with the company taking away the screen time out of never . Makes it hard to listen to music or watching a movie. Pluse I use it for audio books while I'm at work . Now I only have 10 mins before the screen cuts off and closes my book

Galaxy S24You can enable the option to keep the screen awake as long as you're looking at it. The option is directly under screen time out settings.
Also in developer options, there is a "Stay Awake" setting that will prevent the screen from sleeping as long as the phone is plugged in.

Galaxy S24@Dranger456 I've never had a screen turn off while watching a movie. An app, like Netflix, Peacock, etc, can tell the system not to turn off the screen. If your screen is turning off while watching a movie, I would recommend that you reach out to the developers of that app and have them correct it.

The screen doesn't time out during active video playback. Leave screen on has literally never been an option on Samsung phones because of burn in concerns.

Galaxy S24You can manually set the screen timeout to a longer period under Settings > Display > Screen timeout. While "Never" isnโt available, you can choose up to 30 minutes, which may work better for your needs.
