Samsung S24 failure to access Yahoo mail

as of Feb 14 after the latest software update, my yahoo email app will no longer function. I tried several deletes and reinstalls, used the Samsung email app and several others, and none of them will function with my flash.net email. went to verizon where they reset phone and it still would not work..Activated anew S25, installed app with same results. Used my wifes iphone and reached my email with no issues..Either the Android update or the Samsung software update is the culprit..Can still access my email through PC with no issues..Contacted ATT and they have made no changes to the mail.yahoo.com server where yahoo mail resides..anyone else having issues with Flash/att email on Samsung with latest software?

Looks like you contacted everyone except Yahoo.  A couple of years ago, Yahoo added some extra security protocols to both third party apps and their own app.  You may have made those adjustments and forgot you did so and the update may be making Yahoo thinking you have a new device.  You should contact Yahoo support.  BTW, which update did your phone get?  My yahoo mail app works just fine on OneUI6.1. It could also be that the Yahoo app is not yet up to date for OneUI7.0.

I just got a new Samsung 24 yesterday and email will not work. I have spent a couple hours and finally went back to Verizon who also had no clue how to fix. What the heck and anyone know how to fix? 2-19-2025

I have the same issue since 2/17/25 (today is 2/20). I changed my password on my desktop to download new antivirus and protection software, and then when I went to my Samsung tablet S9 and S24 phone, I could no longer access my email. Of course this is after entering my changed password, but I cannot get past the password enter page. The blue continue button is not active!

Mine started same date. I changed no passwords. Samsung email just stopped. Att uses that secure email key. I kept a copy of the first key. Didn't work. Deleted, got another and nothing. Nothing for the past 4 days. And I got the same deal where I can't get past the password entry page.
I have noticed that Samsung email apps 1 star ratings are climbing really fast.

I have the same issue and started the same date.  I have spent hours on phone with ATT tech support, T-mobile and ATT store, and no one can fix the issue.  They say it's a Samsung issue.  How do we escalate to them?  Such a pain!
