Samsung Music: Item selection

Using a S24 Ultra and can no longer select anything under the items on the tool bar in the app. All of the letters within each one are greyed out.

There are no updates pending for my phone. I have tons of space available (700 GB) and have restarted the phone several times.

Anyone have an idea what could be wrong or how to correct this issue?
