So recently had a flashlight with a strong magnet on the handle. I happened to be making a phone call with both my phone and light in my hand. My call ended abruptly, I actually thought I had been hung up on. Service on my phone was achieved via esim with Visible. After the call dropped the phone will not cooperate whenever trying to change any esim settings via Sim manager. You press turn on esim1 and it almost freezes but am able to go to the home screen. As soon as I open settings I get an error notification that something went wrong, try again. Any ideas to get it to acknowledge my esim? Btw the actual Sim card seems to be working but belongs to my old carrier which I no longer subscribe to. Besides that software is up to date. Please help! 🙂

It is highly unlikely that a strong magnet will stop an eSIM from working. eSIMs are integrated chips, not magnetic storage, and are not vulnerable to magnetic interference.

The issue is likely a coincidence, such as an activation error, network outage, or software glitch.

I was under that impression, that esims are robust. However my phone had been working on that esim for over a year, no network outage. I actually had to reactivate my s22 ultra because of not being able to re-download the esim or turn it on or even remove it. So definitely leaning towards a software glitch. Maybe I should try going back to a Sim card?
