Tip make sure to remove phone quick access from your lock screen. Turn off double tap to awake. If not needed go to security and emergency and turn off emergency messages that option that you press 5x you power key and calls 9 11

If you keep your phone in your pocket, the friction and pressure may be pressing the power button 5x. This will trigger emergency SOS. Im the emergency SOS settings, you can toggle on "require swipe to call" which should help will accidental activation. If you have a case on your phone, it would also decrease the sensitivity of the buttons.

Yes happened today first time and only after the June 2025 update. I've mowed grass before and never happened, ever.

I already have swipe to complete call and it still called 911. Mowing grass and I always have my buds on noise cancelling, playing music.

It wouldn't be impossible for my shirt pocket to press the button 5 times, but I think unlikely and to swipe also.

I did just turn off double tap per above tip, on and off os now off, for what that's worth.

IMHO, shirt pocket tapping button five times and swiping is almost impossible.

Accidental touch is also on to supposedly prohibit accidental touch.

It's a function that need to work, the fire department who called me was courteous, but wanted all my information. I guess in case it becomes a habit.

I submitted a log and a picture of settings in emergency SOS.

They replied already to call support, which I'm not going to do. Why submit logs if their not going to look at them?
