Is anyone else having issues with their S24 freezing and restarting? I have had this phone for less than a year and have to pay a $225 deductible to get a new phone. It's ridiculous that I have to pay for a hardware issue that's not my fault.

Did anyone here say buy a new device?  Even if anyone did, what's this "or else" nonsense?

Dear Ambassador, define "here"? This post of mine, no. This forum/community, no. Sales and advertising from AI the moment I exit this "Members" app--there'sdefinitelypressure to buy or trade in for new versus fixing. When I search for troubleshooting, I see newer phones without the issues from the update and older ones with a plethora of issues. Did someone say the exact words "or else", no, but the pressure is definitely there.
Besides:
You should typically replace your smartphone every two to three years, though a well-maintained device can last five years or more, but will likely experience performance degradation and a loss of essential software updates. Common reasons to upgrade include dwindling battery life, slow performance, outdated software and security patches, a damaged screen, or a need for new features.

What you see when you exit you post or this app is called advertising. Do you think Samsung (or any other company) is not in business to sell products? Being bombarded with advertising is not even remotely akin to being forced to buy a new device.

Hello "ambassador". Speaking condescendingly to people is not a good way to add value and trust. I went to school for marketing. I understand about targeted ads and remarketing ads. Having ads focused on repairing or getting service in online help guides on your own site would be more friendly then pushing for new phones. Objectively, it is forgetting about the customer and only focusing on making money. That isn't a good way to build brand loyalty.
I am not being ridiculous in pointing out how capitalistic the cell phone business is. If I was, I wouldn't have had the convo I had with another user, before you interjected.
Sincerely, Someone with a BS in Business ^_-

Errors such as this are usually due to lack of basic housekeeping, not following best practices after updates (https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Best-Practices-After-an-Update/ba-p/3200871), or conflicts in apps that were not yet updated for Android 16. Follow the best practices guide, and do regular housekeeping on your device. if all else fails, a factory reset and restoration of your backup should fix most, if not all issues. Factory resetting the phone will give you a clean operating system that was not installed over the old one. Restoring your backup is unlikely to replicate the errors, as the operating system is never saved in a backup. Before you attempt a factory reset, you should back up all personal data that is crucial or important to you. You can use temporary cloud storage if you do not have an external device.

Why is there usually an Ambassador in the posts accusing people of not following the troubleshooting guides?
