Is anyone else having issues with their S24 freezing and restarting? I have had this phone for less than a year and have to pay a $225 deductible to get a new phone. It's ridiculous that I have to pay for a hardware issue that's not my fault.

I did the diagnostic run on the phone as they suggested. I have insurance through at&t and unfortunately the $225 is what I was hit with. I just got this phone in November, hasn't even been 12 months yet

Then it should still be covered under warranty for defective hardware. I would reach out to customer care.

Thank you for your suggestion. I called and they said the rep at the store filed the wrong claim. I was able to file a warranty claim with no deductible.

Sounds like overheating. The phone will protect itself. If it's a hardware issue and still under warrant, bring it to uBreakiFix and have them evaluate and do a warranty repair. No replacement may be necessary.

The phone is cool to touch and i ran a battery test which came back fine. Maybe they can figure it out once I send it back to them

A phone can be overheating without feeling hot. It depends on which component is overheating. The phone usually protects itself before you feel the heat.

You can take it to iBreakiFix instead of sending it back. Try that first, and download Good Guardians Thermal Guardian from the Galaxy store to check for overheating instances. It doesn't have to be something you are doing and it doesn't have to be the battery. A defective part could be overtaxed.

Samsung--

Your update broke our phones. Since the update, my husband and I have to restart multiple times each day (frequency increasing as days go by: 1x first few days, then 2x, now 3x) because our internet functionality goes away. It isn't specific apps that lose internet, it is all apps.

Restarting is our only fix. Clearing cache, optimizing, and other troubleshooting steps have had no success. I would really like to avoid doing a factory reset.

Other details:
Carrier: Spectrum
Phone: Galaxy 24 Ultra
Date updated: 9/28/25

When will this stop? We use authenticators for our jobs. I have to restart my phone when I first log on since the authenticator fails to send. Considering I am the admin for the authenticator, it is quite annoying.
