So...I'm not sure wha5 to do, but I'm having issues with the S24 Ultra power button and when I push it, it feels like its stuck inside but it still responds, any reason on why your models button is stuck? I've been using the double tap on/off feature and the button will end up turning my screen on and off, is this a hardware issues?

Issues with physical buttons are 100% a hardware issue and will most likely need to be repaired by a certified technician at a certified Samsung repair center.

I know the struggle of not having one nearby. I live in a somewhat rural area and my closest ubreakifix is a 2.5hr drive, one way.

Have you used the service center locator tool to be certain there isn't one near you? https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

In my opinion, it is worth making travel arrangements, even planning a day trip to make sure your device is repaired properly.

Order the kit online and piece that goes with phone, make sure to put model number of phone and specify if you need touch activated or not.

Not sure why this user is recommending you do repairs you state you aren't comfortable doing. Don't take on anything that is beyond your comfort level.

It is better to plan a trip to a center. We always make ours a family day and do things in the surrounding area when we need repairs done.

It is worth going out of your way to have it done right.

The button wears down over time, inside that button are very tiny metal pieces that bend and contract when you press the button, over time and depending on how many times you press this button will weaken the metal, causing the issue that you're having. If you are uncomfortable with tearing a phone apart and fixing yourself then it is highly recommended that you go to a service center or a repair center to have it repaired. My suggestion for future use and from my own experience in the past, dont use the power button often to wake or sleep the screen. Instead, enable double tap on screen to wake or sleep the screen saving the power button from breaking down sooner then usual. 🖖🏻
