S24 Ultra Front Facing Camera Freeze, lag and crash.

Front facing camera freezes when using it. Only shows a still image and updates every few seconds to a new image. It either freezes completely and crashes or continues with the lag. Unable to look through front facing camera at all because it freezes on what it's looking at for 10 seconds at a time. A factory reset fixes it but once there's an update it breaks again. It's frustrating considering how much the phone costs. I'd love to show it off and promote the phone to friends and family but I feel as if I'm showing people a broken product. It's an awful feeling having something brand new that feels like you bought it used because something isn't working on it. 

 
I've seen several posts on here regarding this issue with no update. 
 
Samsung, please don't let this continue and give some sort of acknowledgement.

Still no update to this issue. I saw another post with the same issue but it's now deleted. Wondering if they found a solution or not. I'm hoping it's not hardware based. Not even sure how to start that conversation. Are there any Samsung reps on here that can respond

Did not work. Broken again with this most recent update. Factory reset sometimes fixes it temporarily. But breaks once you update or restore

This is NOT resolved. I have a 3 week old Samsung Ultra that I purchased  in preparation for my trip to Europe. The camera was working then stopped 3 days ago. Instead of relaxing on my trip I am on these forums trying to fix the issue. None of the troubleshooting tips you provided has fixed the problem. I'm so frustrated. In addition the hand swipe to take a screen shot has never worked. Samsung sold me a lemon. You can bet I will be using social media to tell everyone NOT to buy this phone until Samsung comes up with a REAL fix.

having the same issue. All the updates have been installed, rest the data, cache cleared. Still having the same issue. Can't even use the front cam at all šŸ˜‘

same here - I'm from Austria and have exactly the same problem. My camera on my Galaxy S24 Ultra isn't working at all...

It's possible this is a software concern for your device. I have some troubleshooting steps that should help with this matter. Even though you have an Austrian model, the steps should be the same. Let us know if this helps.

Didn't help I tried all methods mentioned none worked I have had it factory reset. Still got the same issue. It has to with front camera only rare camera are working fine. I believe it is a software issue. Please fix it.

I brought the phone from Hong Kong.
