Galaxy S24Very disappointing and frustrating having to purchase a flagship mobile phone which is intended to provide you all of the features but now Samsung has decided to get rid of the Bluetooth feature for the S Pen, is it because the MagSafe cases caused interference and crashes on it or just to save money and manufacture cheaper devices?

Because Bluetooth features saw very low usage—approximately 0.5% of users, according to their research—they were removed. This also eliminated the need for an internal battery, resulting in a lighter and simpler design. Therefore, the removal wasn't for their benefit; rather, features like remote capture were underutilized, with users preferring hands-free capture instead.

Where are the stats for this? 0.5% of users? I use the remote pen for photos when I need it, I can't believe they would remove something so awesome and useful.

During one of our sessions today at the Unpacked event, the Samsung manager confirmed that the S25 Ultra S Pen does not have Bluetooth. He said that the data showed that the Air actions weren't heavily used by users and removing Bluetooth helped with overall device battery life.

Doesn't matter. It's a removal of functionality that has been standard for 5 years without a reduction in cost. It is unacceptable and should be called out for what it is.
