RCS issues

I use Google messages and finally updated from 6 to Ui7 then Ui8 over the weekend and all of my rcs chats have issues 

I double checked all the settings (nothing has changed and all looks good); any ideas?

At times it may take some time, other times disabling then enabling RCS in messages app settings can help. Also won't hurt to restart device.

Make sure app/services in Play Store are updated.

See if Google Play System has an update - Settings then Security and Privacy and look at updates.

RCS is also carrier dependent.

What kind of issues?

Most of the messages are struggling to send as RCS and it auto converts to SMS/MMS
Some of the group msgs aren't working either

Try turning off RCS and deleting the app data and cache. This will not delete any messages, but you will have to reconfigure your app settings and turn RCS chats back on.

Go into apps in settings...uninstall carrier service
Clear cache on g mess
Go to play store update carrier service ..it will restart the rcs function..I found this fixes most issues with rcs
