Help! I recently got a Samsung 24FE. Today, when trying to make a call, I'm told that the phone "couldn't connect ". What can I troubleshoot? Thanks.

Here's a list of troubleshooting steps you can take:

1. Restart your phone:

A simple restart can often clear temporary glitches affecting network connectivity.

2. Check the Basics:

Verify phone number and area code: Ensure the number and area code you're dialing are correct. Check network coverage and signal strength: Move to a location with better reception if you see few or no network bars. Toggle Airplane Mode: Turn Airplane Mode on and off to reset the connection between your phone and the network tower. Go to Settings > Connections, and toggle Airplane Mode on then off.

3. Inspect and Reinsert your SIM Card:

A loose or damaged SIM card can cause call issues. Turn off your phone. Remove the SIM card tray using the ejector tool. Check for any damage to the SIM card. Reinsert the SIM card securely into the tray. Restart your phone after reinstalling the SIM card

4. Reset network settings:

This will reset Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth pairings, and mobile network settings to default. Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings. Confirm the action. (Note: You'll have to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords after this).

If all of the above steps don't resolve the problem, contact your carrier, as they are responsible for your phone's connectivity.
