I can consider myself as a PWM sensitive, because my eyes start to feel pain after few minutes looking in my S24U. How many years it has been since Samsung knows the problem exists. I mean one of the most expensive phones in the world and no DC dimming or similar as an option. Why? OK, the color might be not that good with that option enabled, but how would I care if I can't look at this standart color screen without it causing eyes pain. People who are not sensitive won't use this feature anyway. And now I have to return this beautiful 512gb phone back because Samsung can't add same technologies as some cheaper phones use for many years already.

Galaxy S24It's definitely better than Pixel 7 Pro that I had, but I still can't use it for more than a few minutes at the time because of PWM

Galaxy S24Samsung is silly for the screen improvement when compared with Chinese brand for over 3840Hz PWM dimming.
I won't buy ANY SAMSUNG phones or screen related products from now on unless the PWM frequency increase to at least 3840 just like Chinese brand.
I also informed all my friends about the threats of the low frequency of pwm for phones specially for Samsung.
For the galaxy s23+ which i bought, I'm going to sell it asap and change to Xiaomi or Honour. The UI of Samsung is the best but i do concern more for my eyes instead.
Moreover, i also wonder why the cost is cut on the screen for the flagship phones in recently years. My last phone is galaxy s10, it had DC dimming at 100% brightness but newer model, all screens of OLED becomes trash!!
Goodbye Shamesung and i hope you will consider more about customers health. Thank you

Galaxy S24After many many years of buying Samsung Flagships, my last one was the Note 8. After that I started getting eye strain and headaches. The worst of all was the Galaxy S22 ultra, it made me feel physically sick too. PWM flicker is harmful to our eyes. My next phone will be a Chinese brand like Xiaomi.
I cannot believe a big brand like Samsung do not care about the health of their customers.
Goodbye Samsung.

Galaxy S24I have the same issue , highly sensitive to PWM and cant really use any phone with OLED screens. Why don't companies provide an option for DC dimming and simply leave it upto us? i can definitely live with color compromise over severe eye strain
