Samsung! After the next to last update, you allowed the clock alarms to give you a 30 minute warning to shut off your alarm that breaks through the do not disturb. REALLY? I SET THE CLOCK FOR MY AWAKE TIME AND YOU WAKE ME UP A HALF HOUR EARLY TO TELL ME TO SHUT OFF THE ALARM. get a grip!
You know you can turn the alarm reminder off, right?

yes i found it, but when you turn that feature off, you turn off the alert for appts 30 minutes before the appt. i like the alert feature of the calendar, but it's useless if you turn off 30 min alert before the event
I NEVER had that feature on and I get all my calendar notifications at the interval I set them for. Perhaps it's because I use Google Calendar, not Samsung Calendar. I don't, however, see how the two settings would be integrated or why. The alarms and reminder notifications are two different things.
