October security patch one ui8

I was wondering if anyone with the s24 Plus phone on Verizon or other carrier has received the October security patch for one UI 8 I got the one UI 8 update a couple weeks ago but I heard the security patch for s24 plus was jst released a couple days ago

It's been 4 days since that article. No update for my phone which has One UI 8, software release CYI9 ("September 2025" security update). My understanding is One UI 8 with the October update is supposed to be release CYJ7.

Am I the only one who's not okay with this? Today is October 24th, where is the October update? If my phone doesn't get an update by tomorrow, I'm walking into an Apple store on Monday and grabbing an iPhone after 8 years of being an Android user. This is ridiculous. Also, there is no communication as to why. Why isn't Samsung updating their devices in a timely manner that makes sense?

Also whats your carrier? I have found that the software rollout has been a little slow on att and tmobile. Verizon has been getting updates faster as well as earlier access to the betas
