Navigation home button

All of the sudden my home button on my Navigation bar does not go to my Home Screen. What's going on? How do I fix it?.

Also, how can I get the chat heads back for my text messages?

Try this: long press on a blank spot on your home screen until you see the screen change to show extra icons along the bottom. Ensure that the screen you want for your home screen is displayed then click the house icon at the top of the screen. Then click the back button to exit that edit mode.
