Galaxy S24Google does not dump ads. Please stop spreading misinformation. Some apps in the play store, as you know, have ads. Most times those ads are not bad actors, but there is a growing trend of the ad servers themselves being hijacked and bad ads are being served up that insert malicious software. This hurts the legitimate app developer as well as end users. Ad blockers are for browsers. To protect the phone itself from being served up ads when no apps are open, one should turn on app protection in the security settings and/or keep a malware scanner, such as Malwarebytes, active on their phone. Keeping Notistar active on your phone will assist in finding the offending app, so that it can be uninstalled.
Samsung is not going to extricate itself from Google. Google owns the Android platform and Samsung has an interest in being Android based.

Galaxy S24In GMail? in all the years I've been using GMail, I've never seen an ad. Maybe because I don't use the app very often, I use an email reader. Gmail, like Yahoo, may generate revenue by serving up ads, but I believe that way back when they started, the big pushing point was no ads. They could have changed that policy over the years, but I don't think so. Still, ads in email is not the same thing as pop ups randomly on your phone, and ads like that are most certainly not coming from Google. No one would ever buy Android phones, if that was the case.
