Hello, I'm new here.
I have an Android S 24 Ultra cell phone.
Some time ago I started experiencing a strange notification showing and restricting me moving between the pages on my phone and message states that the action is not allowed due to the Knox security.

I read a bit about the problem. I spoke to my IT help desk. I tried to remove/disable this Knox security policy agreement, which i don't remember signing. But the bottom line, I don't have any success.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this pest?!

All Knox policy app's buttons are in the gray color, not allowing me to uninstall or disable it, stating that it's a Samsung app privacy system. 

Help, please!

Do you remember downloading something? It may have taken control of your phone.

I didn't download anything like that. But I have an automatic download of Samsung updates.

Knox is the security framework built into every Samsung device. It cannot be removed.

Did you buy your phone new or used?

New phone. Not used. Never had such issues until recently. I thought it is some sort of virus.

Is this a work device? If so, your company would be the primary point of contact to get this corrected. As stated, Samsung Knox is a security platform built into Samsung devices. It cannot be removed or altered.

Not, it is my personal phone. But a few work apps were there before, not causing any issues. This was until i started a new job. And some additional info was added. But IT help desk reviewed and stated it's not from them. It is a separate download, and this should be asking special permission to install it. They said it's a serious security matter, and by their guidelines, I should be asked for this separately. I do not recollect this was the case.

Thanks for that info. It's somewhat strange your help desk would say Samsung Knox requires additional security permissions. Would you happen to be located outside the US?

No, I'm in the US. The IT team was just trying to help find the issues. But they never had anyone complaining on this before. So I was under the impression that it was an automatic download from Samsung, which I clicked, not reading. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

This might sound drastic, I would back up my device to my computer using smart switch and perform a factory reset to see if your problem goes away.
