Why did I just discovered that my phone only uses one camera to take photos and videos I always thought it uses all 4 cameras together simultaneously to take the perfect photo or perfect video for better night recording or picture ya i get that the camera is used to zoom shouldn't be used as only for optical zoom i just feel like we aren't using our cameras to its full potential if this is the latest advanced camera technology because every time I take a picture or a video at night there's a tons of noise and lots of white balance like ik this a software issue or something cuz if this is the latest and greatest like what's the point of 200 mega pixels if it doesn't benefit for night photography or night videos doesn't make any sense like be so for real Samsung
Different lenses for different Foci. The megapixels have nothing to do with how many lenses are used at a time. If all the lenses were in use, you'd have a 3-D camera and, so far, no one is offering that. As far as your night shots go, try switching to pro mode where you can adjust the balance manually. The "noise" and balance may just be where you are, what you are taking a picture of and what ambient light is around. If all the lenses were in use, the noise would probably be more, not less. You won't find any brand of phone with multiple lenses that use all at once.
