I like to dock my phone and record long hyperlapse videos. However, my phone automatically stops recording after less than half an hour. The battery is not low, and I have no clue why this is happening. I don't know what setting is causing this. Anyone know what's going on? I have a Samsung Galaxy S24+. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: It also breaks up my hyperlapse into multiple videos for some reason as well. I left it recording and there were a bunch of videos that were a fraction of a second for some reason, as if anyone would ever want this.

I installed and update, cleared cache, clear data, and the same issue happens. If anyone happens to know how to fix it please let me know!

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I understand your concerns with using the Hyperlapse feature on your device. Hyperlapse is a feature that allows you to create your own time-lapse video.  It records at various frame rates which automatically adjust to what youā€™re recording.

You can enable or disable a timer when using the Hyperlapse feature:

Choose Apps

Choose Camera

Choose Hyperlapse

Tap the Settings Cog or the Arrow Icon

Tap Timer

Choose how long you would like for your timer to be or turn it off

Your chosen timer will be displayed on the screen

You can clear the cache to the app by opening Settings, Choosing Camera, Tap Storage, Tap Clear Cache.

Here is a link to some additional information on using the Hyperlapse feature:

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/what-is-the-hyperlapse-camera-mode/

If you are still experiencing issues with the Hyperlapse video, you can send us an error report by going to Samsung Members App, Get Help, Send Feedback, Error Report.

Thanks for yur response. The timer is on infinity. I cleared cache and that did not work either. I'll send an error report. I must say I'm shocked that there's no solution here though.
