Galaxy S24Hello, I have a question. Because I often take a plane, I have to switch to airplane mode on the plane, so I can't connect to the Internet. So I want to convert some videos on YouTube to MP3, so that I can listen to them offline on my phone. Does anyone know how to batch convert YouTube to mp3 conveniently? Is there any useful method to recommend? Thank you!

Galaxy S24One simple way is to record YouTube video as mp3. These audio recording tools allow you to extract audio directly from YouTube videos without the need to download video files. This offers a quick way to save just the audio in high-quality MP3 format. Most of these programs are user-friendly—simply paste the YouTube link, and the software will process the audio and export it as an MP3 file. This is my favorite trick to convert youtube to mp3 on my Windows PC.

Galaxy S24Thank you for your suggestion, I know Spotify allows you to download and play music offline, but I'm not a member yet, mainly because I think the membership fee is a bit high. Spotify's Premium individual membership price seems to be $11.99 per month, and the family plan is $19.99 per month. But I'm still considering whether it's worth subscribing.
It would be nice if I could convert YouTube to mp3 for offline playback.

Galaxy S24I have encountered a similar situation before. I wanted to convert music from YouTube to MP3 for offline listening. I didn't install any other software at the time, so I just used the recording function of my phone. The method is actually quite simple: I open the YouTube video, adjust the volume to a suitable level, and then use the recording software on my phone to record it simultaneously. After recording, you can save it as an audio file. Although it is not a real MP3, the effect is not bad, and it is completely fine to listen to!
However, I would like to remind you that you should be in a quiet place when recording, so that the recorded sound quality will be better. This method is simple and practical, and I recommend it to those who also need to convert YouTube to MP3!

Galaxy S24This method sounds great! But I have a small question: if you use a mobile phone to record, can the recorded audio file be saved directly in MP3 format? Or do I need to convert it separately? I also want to try this YouTube to MP3 method.

Galaxy S24Actually, the method is very simple. I often use computer recording tools to record songs from YouTube.
If you play a YouTube video on your computer, you can also open the system's built-in recording function to record the audio part of the video. Although it is more manual, it can be saved in MP3 format and then transferred to a mobile phone for offline playback.
PS: If you use a Mac, you can use QuickTime's screen recording function to record the audio of the entire video. I don't recommend using those online YouTube to mp3 converter services, there are too many ads!

Galaxy S24I don't recommend the trick for recording the audio when you are trying to convert or download YouTube to MP3.
Recording audio from a video often results in lower quality, as you're essentially capturing streamed audio that's already been compressed. This can lead to further quality loss, especially if you're recording through a system microphone or software that doesn’t capture at the highest available bitrate.
When using external or system audio recording tools, ambient sounds, system notifications, or background noise can interfere with the recording. This is particularly problematic for users who want a clean, uninterrupted audio file.
In fact, there are many free youtube to mp3 converter available and they are more capable of such a task.
