I'm experiencing an increasing amount of home screen freezing on my Samsung s24. I used Nova launcher but Nova tells me that this is an issue from the Samsung side. I presume Samsung is going to tell me this is an issue with Nova.
Sometimes locking the device and opening it back up works, other times it needs a restart.
Power off your phone, while the phone is off press the power button and volume up button simultaneously, when you feel a vibration let go of the buttons. Using the power button for Yes and the volume buttons for up and down, scroll down to wipe cache partition, ok, yes, reboot.
I had this same issue on my a54 using nova launcher. I uninstalled nova launcher and my home screen hasn't froze ever since. I just stick to one ui now unfortunately. Funny enough before getting the one 6.1 update nova launcher worked fine.
