Has Anyone Got The Update 6.1

Am I the only one who hasn't got the update yet? I got a s24 ultra and still on one ui 6.1 Android 14 and it says it's up to date.

Yes, thank you. Looks like the phone was originally a Verizon-locked device. You said it was sold as unlocked, so it's probably been network unlocked to accommodate any SIM. You currently don't have a carrier, correct? Unless you put a Verizon SIM in the phone, it won't get any updates. If you're going with Verizon, that won't be an issue.

But if you want to use a different carrier, you'll have to go to an authorized service center and have them flash unlocked firmware to the phone. There will be a fee for this. Use this link to find a service center near you. You can also contact the service center to get a cost estimate:

It is always the same thing with Ebay and Amazon purchased phones. It's unconscionable that these resellers use the words UNLOCKED.

This happens because carriers, Verizon and AT&T don't always update their systems to remove the carrier locks from devices as required BY LAW. This usually happens with mostly prepaid phones, not postpaid.

This seems like total run around, I have an unlocked s24fe from Verizon and T-Mobile and you're saying unless I pay to have the update I won't get UI8?

Does your model code end in a U or U1?

Go to settings, about phone, software information, scroll down to where it says carrier firmware, take a screenshot shot and post it.

Mine was like this for a year after one UI 7 then I realized since I had a verizon s24 plus and I switched to a straight talk Sim card I had to put an old Verizon Sim in my phone to get it to update and that's what I have to do every time I update now so that may be ur problem watever provider ur phone is with u need there Sim card

You do know that you can go to a Ubreakit and have the phone flashed with software to make it a factory unlocked model.
