Galaxy S24If there is a glitch, it's probably only with your phone, since biometrics reside strictly on the user's device. You can do a diagnostic of the fingerprint reader. If your finger was wet or just off the mark, the reader won't read properly. Do the diagnostic and make sure the sensors are working. If the diagnostic shows everything OK, and the problem persists, try resetting your biometrics by either deleting the fingerprint you have, or adding another (you can register up to 3 prints).

Galaxy S24I have two new S24 FE phone, and the fingerprint scanner will accept a printed, but when you check to verify the fingerprint issue recognized, it does not recognize the prints.
1. No added screen protector.
2. Cleaned fingers.
3. Havetrieds with three different fingers, at last four tires.
4. Have deleted saved print and started from scratch numerous times.
5. Have done complete factory resting twice.
6. Samsung set me up with an authorized repair service, but on the day of apt, which was 40 minutes away, the repair shop called to cancel apt, saying they are no longer associated with Samsung.
7. Samsung insists I send phones in for warranty repair, and may not have it for up to 21 says.
8. I told them its totally unacceptable as I have serious medical conditions, (two cancers and a host of related issues), and must have phone within me at all times.
9. Samsung will not makes any exceptions to theirs policy. When asked if they will take responsibility for any issues that occur relating to my health, doe to not having my phone to contact ambulance, doctor, or confirming any of myself medical Apts, they ignor the question.
I have had the phone for about 2-3 months, with problem existing from the start. I suggested they've send a new phone, at which time I will send this faulty one back. They will not do that. I said they give phones away daily as promomotions, but refuse to swap a phone, that's swap, where therefore will be no loss to them, but again they've refused.
I have threatened to report them to my states attorneys General office, but they still ignor my situation and tell me I have to send the phone in.
I have started the process, getting all of my paperwork together, my notes, documenting the contacts, but my condition makes thus take forever.
Has anyone else experienceed the same issues with the fingerprint system, or Samsungs lack of customer service? Before people suggest what to try within the phone, please read above to learn what I've already tried.
