What does the "FE" stand for?

So what does FE stand for anyways. I know it's the bottom of the Samsung food chain, but please tell me why and what it stands for.

Fan Editions are not so much "the bottom of the Samsung food chain" as they are "entry level flagships."

They are superior to midrange and budget devices (the A series) yet do not share all of the premium components the standard S series devices have.

In other words, the FE is the best device for most average users... It cuts all the right corners to reduce cost without sacrificing flagship features or build quality.

Nor is it the bottom of the "Samsung Food Chain" I own a Samsung Galaxy S25 FE 5G phone and it's an amazing phone.

Yes actually the FE versions perform quite well. My wife has used s21fe s23fe, s24fe over the years with no issues and great performance. She just upgraded to the s25ultra 1tb due to a fantastic price last month. They performance on par with plus model features with just a little lower processor. Great value.
