You are ending the free photo backup? Why? The photo back up was the main reason I bought the 24+ so my photos would continue to be backed up. I don't see any reason to continue with your expensive contract without that. When my contract is up I'll be looking for other brands and other services.
Your photos get backed up to Google by default unless you specifically turn it off. They get synced with OneDrive (if you have it), making Samsung Cloud storage for photos unnecessary. You also have the very real option of backing up your photos to a computer, flash drive, or other external media on a regular basis. What kind of contract are you speaking of? Are you paying for cloud storage? When they discontinue the service, they will cease to charge you. If you mean payments for your phone, I think you will find that most other brands only offer Google One backup. Backups are a personal responsibility and some manufacturers offer the auto backup of photos as a convenience. It's not a right - it's a courtesy.
