Coating on my s24 ultra's screen is wearing off

So the coating on my s24 ultra's screen has started coming off no big deal really it just leaves spots. But can be annoying at times 

Does anyone know why this happens? And what can I do? I've never used anything that would damage my screen. I'm planning on upgrading anyway I'm just curious.

It's the Oleophobic coating, it doesn't play nice with the Gorilla Armor glass.

You can buy a kit to reapply a coating. Or use a screen protector.

I had that problem on my S24U too.
Grease spots that I would have to use a microfiber cloth to get rid of.
Ended up putting a screen protector because it drove me crazy.

Ok I thought I was the only one being affected by it. I thought it may have been something I had did or buy me holding my phone a lot.

No, lots of people with that problem.

Especially if you were using sun tan lotion.

Either buy the kit or put on a tempered glass screen protector - or both.
