Cleaning apps run very slow after UI 8 update

After installing UI 8 update, both me and my wife's phones cleaning apps run very and basically don't clean. We were using Avast Android Cleanup. So, I tried using AVG's cleaner for Android. Same result: very, very slow and basically doesn't clean. Suggestions?

Not familiar with the avast or avg program but clean the phone cache your better option

Cleaning the cache? Did that. Cleaning app still drags.

After a update clearing phine cache good idea other than than apps should get cleared cache from time to time also

Also, download Good Guardians from the Samsung store. Download the Galaxy App Booster and Memory Guardian. The other modules may be of use to you also.

Tried them. No change. Cleaner still doesn't work.

I am having such a hard time with this new update. I can not change it back to my original background nor my font regular color and my letters are very hazy.. Can someone help?

The update has my phone all messed up as well. My quick settings panel wont show at all, and Google services framework is eating up all sorts of data. Among other issues

I clean the cache often. My cleaning app still drags and doesn't clean. I really believe it's the UI 8 update. It didn't perform this way till after the update.
