I have just acquired a Galaxy S24plus and am beginning to configure the Calendar application. I want to change the colour of the event notification. Presently a pale grey/purplish line appears on the date to indicate an event. I want to be able to choose other colours.
I have opened the application and the gear wheel settings to "modify the style of the calendar". This allowed me to choose brighter colours. It seems to have a slight effect on the pale grey/purple colour but what I want to do is to use several different colours according to my own choice for my events.
Is this possible and how can I do it. Or else can someone recommend a more flexible application?
Thank you for the suggestion but I have found the solution myself! For anyone else who is wondering how to do this, the answer is simple. You simply press on the event and in the upper right hand corner of the page you press on the little colour button and you can then change the colour: you save and it's done. Simple!
I would also like to be able to change the colour of the whole date on the calendar but this does not seem possible, but it doesn't matter much for me.
I access my Google calendar through the Samsung app and have different types of events (calendars) color coded. You would have to set up those different calendars in Google, but you can manipulate & sync everything using the Samsung app.

On my s23 i see where THEY ! also set up colors for My different categories too. I found that on the calendar event listed, in the upper right hand corner.There is a color if you tap on that color up comes a series of color circles.They may even have one that looks like a multicolor marble . If you like any of the regular colors listed and you would tap on one of those.And it would change this color of the circle at the top right hand corner of your event. However, if you want to make your own color tap on that multicolor marble and with your finger slide it on the graph of colors and you may be able to make your own gradient of color you can scroll up and down and of course the graph and see the color change in the circle nearby.
