My hubby and I are on the same service, same account thru att. But just a few months ago all the sudden when I call him it goes directly to "the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls" . I can call everybody else. I can text him and it goes thru. Now he can call me and text me but I can't call him. We've tried everything, even going to att store and them looking at both phones. Help!

Issues involving texting, calling, and quality of cell service will most likely need to be resolved by your carrier.

If your carrier is unable to resolve the issue, your number may have been inadvertently added to his block list.

Check this by opening the Dialer > 3 dots, top right > Settings > Block numbers and see if your number is in the list.

The people at the phone stores are salespeople, not tech support people. You will need to actually call AT&T and ask for their tech support people. Are you the only one whose calls do not get to him?
