I had sent them feedback on this too and this is their reply: << Thank you for using Samsung Members App. In new OneUI 7, we change support transparent 50%, 75%,100% (as attachment) and 0% when you set background OFF. If you want more transparent, please turn OFF "Background" on Widget setting (when OFF, transparency will be disabled) We appreciate your business. >>
I replied back to them: Re: transparency of widgets: In your prior version settings, there were more choices by increments of 10... Why on earth did you narrow it down to only 3 choices? 🤔 Please fix ... I want the widgets to be at 20% NOT 50%... Please give us more transparency choices like we had with One UI 6. Please fix. P.S.: 50% is still too dark and 0% is far too little. A slight background is needed!
The transparency slider for widgets has been eliminated in favor of removing the background. This, of course, leaves one with no in-between level of transparency. It's either complete transparency (on widgets that allow it), or no transparency at all. This was a bad move.
