I would like my S24 plus to beep once and only once, at times set by me, without needing to be snoozed or dismissed.

The alarm function does not do it. And I have tried unsuccessfully with many apps.

I'm not sure if you would call this an alarm, a notification, or a reminder(?)

Try this: all you need to do to is set up a routine with the "if" parameter as "specific time" where you set the time you want, and then the "then" parameter under "effects" and then choose "beep once".

If you haven't checked out modes and routines yet, you'll find all sorts of interesting and potentially useful feature!

Oh just seeing your second message.

Can you give me a little more guidance please? Where do a go specifically in Modes and Routines?

Appreciate the response and although I understand what you mean conceptually I have no idea how to do this. Don't see this opportunity in the alarm app. Where should I be looking?

Check your apps for one called "Modes and Routines." Open it and tap the Routines tab, then the + at the top of the page to create a new routine. Then follow the directions I gave earlier.
I hope this helps!

Click the plus sign, and create a routine like the one on the screenshot.1742617102800.jpg

You can set multiple times in the same routine, you do not have to create a routine for each time. Just keep adding tomes to the "if" section.
